Privacy notice

This notice applies to www.bfes.co.in (“the website”). When our customer portal opens on 25 November 2026, it will have its own privacy policy for account and project data.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Blackfox Embedded Solutions (“BFES”, “we”), a sole proprietorship of Yogananthan Nagaraj, No.6, Akilmedu 6th Street, Erode - 638001, Tamilnadu, India, decides how and why your personal data is used through this website. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) we are the “Data Fiduciary”.

2. What we collect

• The contact form: your name, email address, phone number and company (the last two are optional), what you chose to ask about, and your message. The email we receive also shows the IP address the message came from, which helps us stop misuse.
• WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send us when you contact us this way.
• Hosting records: our hosting provider keeps standard web-server records (such as IP address, pages requested and browser type) for security and to fix problems.

We do not collect sensitive data such as health or biometric data, and we do not knowingly collect data of children. This website is for businesses.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your message and, if you ask for one, prepare a quotation: because you asked us to.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or send marketing emails without asking you first.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. It keeps one note in your browser’s session storage (that you have already seen the welcome logo screen), which disappears when you close the tab. Fonts and pictures are served from our own website, not from third parties.

5. Who we share it with

Only what each needs:

• Our staff who answer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Service providers who work for us: MilesWeb (web hosting in India, including the server that receives the contact form) and Google Workspace (our email). Google may process email data outside India, as the DPDP Act permits.
• Authorities, where the law requires.

Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google reviews, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram take you to those companies’ sites, which have their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails while they are needed to answer you and follow up, and delete enquiries that did not lead to a project after 2 years. If you become a customer, the portal’s policy and the records we must keep under tax and accounting laws apply.

7. How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS (encrypted traffic). The contact form sends your message over an encrypted connection to our server, which emails it to our team. We keep nothing in a database for it. Access to our mailbox is limited to our staff.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask what personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct or erase it where we no longer need it and the law does not require us to keep it; withdraw your consent; nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to; and complain, first to our grievance contact above and, if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Changes

We will update this notice when the website or the law changes. The version date is at the top.
